Fancy Gift

I am truly lucky to have wonderful friends with me. I am far away from my family because of a work assignment, and I don’t miss them as much because I have wonderful people time to spend with. During those instances when I am not able to come home for the holidays, I would usually plan out parties with my friends instead. This Christmas was one of them, and this was not an exception for having a Christmas dinner with them.

This year I was really happy with all the gifts I received. I got one of those cuckoo clocks I have always wanted for my place. This reminds me of my home as my mother has quite the penchant for these things. We collect a couple inside our home and they always seem to entertain us with their beautiful designs and unique sounds. In a way, having one in my apartment helps me to feel like I am just at home.
