Special Gift for a Special Person

My aunt’s 60th birthday is coming up. She lives alone, being widowed at a young age and she didn’t have any children. She always said we, her nephews and nieces, make up for not having kids of her own. Expectedly, she is well-loved by all of us.

This year, my siblings and cousins want to make her birthday extra special. Auntie usually talks about how much a part of her childhood memories their old grandfather clock was. So we really planned on our gift and decided to get her one of those oak grandfather clocks that look like the one they had in our grandparents’ old house.
